Tim and Ginette Kirkland arrived in Huntsville in 1986, by way of the military. After serving in various ministries such as greeting, deacons, and administrative deacons, they are now serving as elders that oversee the deacon's ministry. Tim is also an elder representative to the board, which helps to plan out the vision of The Rock.

They have been married over thirty years and have been blessed with two incredible sons.
